As a teacher I specialize in classical guitar instruction from beginner to advanced. I provide a safe, fun, and engaging environment for students of all ages and backgrounds. I am also proficient in Jazz, Rock, and Blues styles.

Haiqiong Deng, an international renowned zheng (gu-zheng) soloist and chamber musician, has given numerous performances and lectures at concert halls, universities, museums, and festivals throughout the United States, Canada, China, Japan, and Singapore. Haiqiong received her Bachelor of Music degree from the Shanghai Conservatory of Music and Master of Arts in Arts Administration and Ethnomusicology from the FSU College of Music. She is currently the Director of the Chinese Music Ensemble at FSU.

Marvin Goldstein, a highly acclaimed pianist, arranger, and entertainer, began musical training at age nine. Goldstein has traveled extensively, performing in such places as Jerusalem, Anchorage, Oahu, Copenhagen, London, and throughout Canada and the continental United States. Goldstein has recorded over 30 compact discs including popular music, patriotic melodies, show tunes, sacred music and love songs and has arranged 15 piano solo music books.

Cellist and Cello Teacher. Cellist Kim Jones holds a Bachelor of Music degree and an Artist Diploma from McGill University and a Master of Music degree from the Eastman School of Music. Previously a tenured member of the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, she now performs with the Tallahassee Bach Parley and as associate principal cellist with the Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra. She has served as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Cello at FSU and currently maintains a private studio of over twenty-five students.

Adam Kossler is a classical guitarist and current doctoral student and teaching assistant in the school of music at Florida State University. He is also an electric guitarist and has played in regional bands throughout the southeast. As a Suzuki trained instructor his specialty is teaching classical guitar to children but he offer guitar lessons for all styles. As a performer he has given concerts throughout the U.S. and Canada and performs both as a soloist and as a member of the Kossler Guitar Trio.

Dan Peterson is a member of the Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra and Valdosta Symphony. Dan is a past member of the Orlando Philharmonic, Orlando Ballet, and Orlando Opera Orchestras. He served as the bassist in the Air Force Band of the Midwest jazz band, where he toured extensively across the US. Dan is also an active bass instructor, and performs in various ensembles, including teaching and performing at the annual Florida Folk Festival.

The Tallahassee Bach Parley performs Baroque music (from approx. 1600-1750) using period instruments, and is made up of local professional performers and teachers, and FSU faculty and students who are trained in historically informed performance. The word "parley" in French means discussion, and the Bach Parley offers informal commentary at each concert to make the atmosphere more relaxed. We provide historical background about the composers and their world and provide an idea of what to listen for in the music.

Charles Witmer heads the music ministry for Grace Lutheran Church of Tallahassee as the organist and choirmaster. He graduated with a Bachelor of Music Degree from Wittenberg University and earned a Master of Music Degree from The University of Michigan. He has performed as a soloist in operas and oratorios across the U.S. In Tallahassee, he founded and directs the women's chamber chorus, Voces Angelorum, and has appeared frequently as conductor and tenor soloist with the Tallahassee Bach Parley.
