• The posted event must be open to the public. Board meetings, rehearsals, and other organization-specific events are welcome as long as the public is permitted to attend.
  
  
• The event must have a physical location, and the address must be listed in the entry.
  • We ask you not to post online-only events. If you have an arts-related online event or exhibit, please contact COCA for other ways to help promote it.
  • The physical location should be within 100 miles of Tallahassee.
  • Please do not post events with “location TBA” or “call for location” or “directions sent after registration."
    
    
• The event must have a specific date or dates.
  • Please do not simply post all the regular operating hours for your business or organization.
  • Ongoing events that happen each week or month are welcome.

• Classes are welcome as long as people may attend on any day the class is listed. It is extremely disappointing for a user to find the calendar, see a terrific upcoming class, and then discover that they are cannot attend.
  • If students may attend on a "walk-in" basis on any day, you may post the class on all dates it is offered.
  • If students must be registered by a certain date in order to attend, please post the registration period, not the class dates.
  • If students must attend the first class in order to attend subsequent ones, please ONLY post the first class date.
    
    
• Please do not post general calls for artists, entries, or volunteers on this calendar.
  • Auditions, rehearsals, and volunteer meetings on specific dates are welcome.
