I am an ultra-light long distance hiker and an artist whose work intersects with environmental issues. My favorite museum to exhibit my work is currently my own yard, where I have fabricated pole-like structures with objects that are evidence of my consumption and collection habits. One example is the use of my junk mail (mostly mail order catalogues) to remake trees. I also make large photographs and digital images that interest with the themes of the sculptures in the yard.

Larry Fuchs has been engaged in fine art photography for over forty years. His work has been accepted in juried exhibitions and has won local, national, and international awards.
