Cabarisqué is a burlesque flavored variety show with retro styling and modern flair. Shows are mostly PG-13. Most of the entertainers are women, from the belly-dancers to straight-up burlesque dancers. Our concept uses cabaret, particularly burlesque, to challenge stereotypes around gender, sexuality, body size, and conformity.

CEYEB is the pre-professional youth ballet company housed at Performing Arts Center of Tallahassee. Two full-scale productions are produced each year including the annual "Christmas in Narnia" held at the historic Quincy Music Theatre and a spring ballet. With the mission to train, inspire and nurture young dancers towards personal and artistic excellence while bringing the art of classical and contemporary ballet to Tallahassee and the surrounding areas, performances are sure to not be missed!

Seven Days of Opening Nights

Seven Days of Opening Nights is a performing-arts festival that takes place each February and spotlights Florida State University's commitment to the arts — music, theatre, dance, visual art, film and literature. The 2011 festival marked Seven Days’ return to Ruby Diamond Concert Hall, which has undergone a mammoth $35-million renovation to become one of the finest concert halls in the Southeast. The festival also uses other on-campus venues – such as the Nancy Smith Fichter Dance Theatre, Opperman Music Hall, Museum of Fine Art and Student Life Cinema – as well as off-campus venues, including Tallahassee Community College’s Turner Auditorium, Florida A&M University’s Lee Hall, Pebble Hill Plantation and the Tallahassee Museum.
ShowDanceTell
Showdancetell is a newly formed modern dance company in Tallahassee, Florida. We are excited to join the dance community and look forward to sharing our work! Showdancetell will focus on how modern dance can blend with many other styles. The company will have their debut concert in August 2011. We are currently seeking dancers for our first show.
