All of www.MoreThanYouThought.com's features are free and easy to use. This interactive community calendar is searchable by type of event, date, location, and keyword. If you want thousands of people to consider your events when making their entertainment plans, post them here.

Please post your entire season and add new events as soon as you know when they will be. Often magazines and other media outlets use this calendar to plan stories, and their deadlines may be months in advance.

COCA maintains an online directory of arts and cultural organizations in the Capital Region. Basic listings are free for all arts organizations. COCA member organizations have featured listings that include descriptions and a photograph. (Note: it may be appropriate for your organization to be listed in more than one category.)  To add or update a listing, fill out the form here or send e-mail to randi@cocanet.org.

Need to get the word out to local teachers? COCA's Arts in Education Newsletter goes out to educators and administrators in 16 counties on the first Tuesday of each month. There is no charge for listings as long as they meet the established criteria. To submit your listing, please send a text-only description of 50 words or less to Amanda Thompson at amanda@cocanet.org. 

Deadline for submission is 5:00 pm on the fourth Monday of the month. COCA reserves the right to include or exclude any listing at its discretion and to determine the content and placement of all listings.

Fill your empty seats and attract new audiences by donating tickets to the "Some Enchanted Evenings" program. "Some Enchanted Evenings" matches social service organizations with local producers of cultural events. Arts and cultural organizations provide free tickets; social service organizations identify individuals in need of assistance, and arrange transportation for them. COCA coordinates the program for all participating organizations.

COCA administers a grant program on behalf of the City of Tallahassee and Leon County, distributing more than $1 million annually to non-profit arts and history organizations that contribute significantly to the quality of life and tourism industry in Tallahassee and Leon County. Developed by a community task force, the grant guidelines are reviewed and revised every year. A diverse panel of community volunteers reviews applications and makes funding recommendations in a rigorous and highly accountable process.
