To assist you in locating available funding sources, this guide identifies local, state and national organizations that offer grants or collect donations that will help you achieve your teaching goals.
Each month, new and different funding opportunities are listed in COCA's Arts in Education E-Newsletter. Sign up for that publication above.

attract private students
COCA offers a directory of afterschool arts classes, private lessons, birthday party resources, and camps. Listings are free for area music, writing, dance, theatre, and other art teachers.
some enchanted evenings
Some schools, particularly Title I schools and those in rural areas without access to arts education, may be eligible to receive free tickets from the "Some Enchanted Evenings" program. Arts and cultural organizations provide free tickets; schools organizations identify qualifying students, and arrange transportation for them. COCA coordinates the program for all participating organizations. For more information about receiving tickets from the "Some Enchanted Evenings" program, contact Amanda Thompson at 850-224-2500 or amanda@cocanet.org.
internships

COCA welcomes inquiries about internships at any time from students interested in any of the workings of a local arts agency. Most of our interns are graduate students in arts administration; however, we also have interns who are undergraduates, and very occasionally, high school students. For more information, contact Holly Thompson at holly@ cocanet.org.

The Annual Winter Festival Youth Art Exhbition
All art instructors from Leon County public, private, charter, and home schools are invited to select two pieces of their students' artwork to submit to COCA's annual Winterfestival Youth Art Exhibition, which is a part of the City of Tallahassee's Winterfestival. The exhibit is held each November and December in the City Hall Art Gallery and is open to K-12 students.
Check back for more information about the 2013 exhibit in the fall. Contact Amanda Thompson at amanda@cocanet.org for a direct link to the application page.
